Our Story

Hi, I'm Maura

Founder of Nurture Threads, and lover of all things wild.

I started Nurture Threads after I fell in love with two things: sustainability and the benefits of babywearing. I learned that moms can help their babies transition from the womb to the world in the smoothest way possible through babywearing.

My love for nature made me want to educate myself about sustainability. I started by changing my eating habits, and now I’m a happy vegetarian. But, I’m selective with what’s in my food, so I only buy organic raw food… and I’m loving it! I also changed my purchase choices, and steered towards minimalist and sustainable clothing. That is when I had this wish to design a product that combined these two benefits that could allow parents to make a positive impact on our planet and on their bond with their babies.

So, I started this brand as a way to create chic, sustainably made products for moms and their little ones. As a vegetarian, I feel it’s important to offer eco-friendly products to parents who are also ethically conscious and want to help make the earth a better place for their children.

That’s why we’re committed to bringing you exceptional quality products that bring you and your baby closer together while making your days a little easier too.
